I have recently changed my mufflers to screamin eagle ll and have also changed my air cleaner to a screamin eagle high flow on my 2004 883. I know I need to re-jet the carb but am unsure what size jets to use. Some say to only change the main jet to a 170 and others say to change both. Any and all answers will be greatly appreciated, especially if you have done this type of upgrade to your own sportster. Thanks

I went up one size on both the Pilot (slow) Jet and the Main Jet when I changed my mufflers to Python 3s and the air cleaner to a round Hi-Five. This worked awesome for me. I did the idle drop method to determine where the mixture should be set and I have been good to go ever since. My gas milage went down about 2 mpg, but what a difference in the way it runs and sounds!
Good Luck
