Trick I have seen by shorter fellas is to step on the top of the kickstand and pivot. The guy I saw doing it had a 2 inch platform welded to his kick. As for me, I just tuck all my junk in tight and start swinging. Sometimes I miss and scuff my hardbags, which absolutely sucks! Happy mounting to ya, Pard.

Ape Hangers from hell, yep tried mounting from the right, ass is to big big scoot moves, so i'm with you, throw my junk over the left side and hope i don't scuff the bags. As long as can mount I'm happy
