Live in N.C. and we have a new helmet law. Whats the helmet law in your state or do you even have one?

VA law: every swinging dick has to wear one, regardless of age or insurance rider.

All European nations require the use of a helmet. Some nations enforce the law some don't. I wear one because the US Army requires us to for our insurance to cover us. No sweat, as long as I am riding.

When I retire I might not wear one, but am thinking 26 years wearing one, it might just be a habit now. ha

Plus mine is pretty cool, it matches the scoot. The wife prefers a fullface to help buffer the wind on long rides.

North Carolina Motorcycle Helmet Law
In North Carolina, all motorcycle operators and passengers must wear helmets of the type approved by its Commissioner of Motor Vehicles. To make sure your helmet has been approved, check with the Commissioner before riding on a motorcycle in North Carolina. Really not funny,the law is so vague other than 1 inch of foam and snell and dot approved.
